Julia Koulik, BSc, CAT(C),
Certified Athletic Therapist

Julia Koulik graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Science degree, with Specialized Honours in Kinesiology, and a Certificate of Athletic Therapy. Since that time, she has worked here as an Athletic Therapist in the clinic, providing therapy coverage for the Peel Highschool rugby and football teams, and teaching First AID and CPR courses. Julia also currently teaches the Emergency Care Practicums at York University. Her special interests are in exercise and strength training, and water workouts/therapy.

Julia has added to her background courses on Upper Extremity Joint Mobilizations and Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy Techniques for the Pelvis and Lumbar Spine, Aquatic Rehabilitation Specialist, and ‘BikeFIt’ and Common Injuries in Cycling. Recent Field Events have included being part of the Medical Team for the Women’s U-19 Field Lacrosse World Championships, providing care for cyclists of the Bike Tour For Kids, and she has currently volunteered to provide therapy for the BMO East/West Junior National Skating Competition.

Julia has recently become a Supervisory Athletic Therapist with the CATA and is excited to mentor students who are interested in becoming Certified Athletic Therapists.
