Jen’s personality and high degree of experience is sure to make your physiotherapy care a positive experience.  She graduated from McMaster University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy.  Prior to that she attained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University.  Upon entering private physiotherapy practice, Jen pursued her Certification in Anatomical Acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (CAFCI) in 2009.

Continuing professional education is imperative to Jen.  Currently, Jen is striving to complete her Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and subsequently become a CAMPT Certified Physiotherapist with the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Therapy.

Jen enjoys treating orthopaedic (muscle and joint) conditions with a combination of manual therapy, acupuncture, and specific prescriptive exercises.  After having children of her own, Jen developed a special interest in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, once again continuing her education in women’s health.  She regularly evaluates and treats women with incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti (abdominal separation), pelvic pain, constipation, sacroiliac (tailbone) pain, and pregnancy-related pelvic floor concerns.

When not involved in her professional life, Jen enjoys family activities with her husband and three children.
