Marcia is an energetic and motivated therapist, with a passion for wellness and wellbeing. Marcia started her journey towards the Athletic Therapy profession at York University where she attended three years of her Honours Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology and Health Science. She graduated Sheridan College with an Honours Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences (Athletic Therapy). Marcia gained her certification through the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA) as an Athletic Therapist in 2017. She continued to develop her Athletic Therapy skills and pursued further training as a Massage Therapist. In November 2017 she graduated from Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy. Currently Marcia has successfully become a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists (CMTO). Passionate about her craft she will continue to enhance and add to her hands on skill set.

Having previous exposure in the rehabilitation profession, Marcia has treated a wide range of injuries. From the general population, to varsity level athletes, yogis and both semi-professional and professional athletes, she is sure to incorporate a unique approach to her treatments. Marcia strongly believes in the therapeutic benefit of massage, and incorporates more of a holistic focus.

Outside of her professional life, you will most likely find Marcia spreading her positive vibes practicing Yoga, taking long hikes, working out or enjoying community activities in her home in Caledon East.
